What is an organelle name in striated muscle cell?

They also have endoplasmic reticulums, or called Sarcoplasmic Reticulum (in muscle cells). They are responsible for the secretion and retention of Ca2+ (calcium ion) in the cell, to generate muscle contraction. when the signal is given by the adjacent nerve cell, the sarcoplasmic reticulum release Ca2+, Ca2+ binds troponin inducing a conformational change that allows the myosin head to bind. Myosin in the presence of actin filaments and troponin, hydrolyses ATP (using its ATPase) and slides the filaments thus contraction.
